The Law Society is the professional body for solicitors in England and Wales. Our vision is to promote, protect and support solicitors, the rule of law and justice in England and Wales. For 200 years we have championed solicitors and their role in protecting rights and promoting justice.
We are recruiting an experienced Content Manager (Sections) to work across a range of mediums, including print magazines, digital newsletters and our website. You and your team will be involved in the end-to-end content creation process. This includes working with other teams to identify relevant issues and interesting stories from our business plans, and working with our network of members and experts to commission or create high quality content. You will also be involved in the review and publishing of content across our various channels, ensuring that what we publish meets the requirements of our various audiences.
What we’re looking for
- We’re looking for an experienced content manager who has a strong and proven track record of delivering results.
- You will use your experience of creating first-rate and audience-centric content to build on our past successes and find new ways of building engagement with our Section membership.
- To succeed in this role, you will also need excellent people management skills and experience of coaching your colleagues and team members to thrive in a changing environment.
- You will have a good understanding of both the print production and digital content processes from concept and planning to delivery and review, ideally with prior experience of working on printed materials and content management systems.
- You will also have strong planning, analytical and organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work to varied deadlines across multiple teams.
- As a person, you’ll be highly collaborative and able to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
- You’ll be self-motivated and a proactive and positive presence in your team, the Member Communications and Content department, and wider organisation.
