This is a pivotal leadership role combining education strategy, product innovation and commercial accountability. You’ll shape and deliver a modern, insight-led learning offer that is accessible, relevant and financially sustainable, supporting solicitors at every stage of their career.
You’ll lead a cross-organisational L&D strategy and drive a joined-up, product-led approach that enhances the overall member proposition. This includes developing and scaling a high-quality hybrid portfolio of digital learning, structured programmes and practical resources that deliver measurable value for both members and the organisation.
A key focus of the role will be portfolio growth and performance. Using data, market insight and customer understanding, you’ll optimise the learning offer, increase engagement and revenue, and ensure the L&D function plays a meaningful role in the organisation’s wider commercial strategy. You’ll also lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement across the function.
What we're looking for
You’ll bring significant senior leadership experience in learning and professional education, with a strong track record of delivering strategic change and measurable impact. You’ll have experience developing and scaling digital and blended learning products, alongside strong commercial acumen and accountability for revenue, portfolio or product performance. You’ll be an influential and collaborative leader, capable of building strong cross-functional partnerships and operating confidently within a complex stakeholder environment. We’re looking for someone who blends strategic thinking with execution, using data and insight to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality learning experiences that make a tangible difference.
