We are looking to recruit a member registration co‑ordinator to join our busy member registration team. The team is responsible for maintaining the records of all Scottish solicitors and all legal practices in Scotland. The coordinator role includes a variety of administrative tasks from updating member details on the database to helping deal with incoming queries from members both via email and telephone.
The work of the Member Experience Team includes providing support and services to our members through our confidential helpline, continuing professional training, certification and accreditation programmes, affiliate programmes, as well as ensuring all members are registered to practice. Key Responsibilities for this role:- To manage the member registration email inbox
- To attend the office on a hybrid basis to deal with all incoming print mail and scanning requirements
- To interact with members in an effective and courteous manner to understand their requirements and how to best assist them
- To deal with telephone queries or elevate as required
- To update membership data in the data management system
- To check application data prior to formal processing
- To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be expected by the senior staff of the department.
- At least one year’s previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to use computer packages, particularly Microsoft Office products
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to analyse and assess information
- Standard Grade English and Maths, or equivalent
