Help shape the future of Scotland’s legal profession. The Law Society of Scotland is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills to join our Intelligence, Insight and Research team. This is a key role in our data and insights knowledge function where the successful candidate will be involved in ensuring the Society as the professional body for over 13,000 Scottish solicitors has the evidence it needs to inform decisions, influence policy, and support our members.

Key Responsibilities- Work with the Head of Intelligence, Insight, and Research to understand the data, intelligence and research needs of the organisation to allow for evidence-based decision making.
- Ensure we continue to deepen our knowledge of the legal services market, rule of law, and access to justice in Scotland.
- Deputise for the Head of Intelligence, Insight, and Research when required.
- Experience of data, insight and research, ideally in a regulated sector.
- Strong analytical and communication skills — able to interpret complex data and explain it in understandable ways.
- Evidence of building networks and working collaboratively.
