We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Executive to join the Law Society of Scotland. We are seeking a motivated, creative and high performing professional to join our Communications Team, bringing their skills, expertise and flair for visual storytelling to help us evolve our communications and engagement and drive continuous improvement.

We are the professional body for over 14,000 Scottish solicitors. As well as setting standards for and regulating solicitors to ensure the provision of excellent legal services and that the public can have confidence in Scotland’s legal profession, we work to influence the creation of a fairer and more just society through active engagement with the Scottish and United Kingdom governments, parliaments, wider stakeholders and our membership. We also provide wide-ranging support to help our members thrive through our CPD programme and member services and engagement. We engage with schools through our Street Law and Scotland-wide school debating tournament and engage with law students throughout their legal education journey.
Key Responsibilities for this role
The Digital Content Executive reports into the Head of Communications and plays a central role within a communications team with a wide and varied remit. The team is responsible for informing and engaging our audiences, including Law Society of Scotland members, the media, public, parliamentarians, in addition to our internal stakeholders who include colleagues, our governing Council and committees. You will play a key and specialist role within the Communications Team as we seek to maximise engagement with our audiences across a range of channels, including social media, video, podcasts and print. We want you to bring your creativity, skills and expertise to help us evolve our communications and engagement by providing innovative and engaging design, graphics, photography and video content that is going to get us noticed.
