Overview
Thompson Mitchell Solicitors are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solicitor with a minimum of seven years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in probate, estate planning, and both residential and commercial conveyancing to join their well-established and expanding practice in Portadown.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner seeking to advance their career within a respected and supportive firm.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of probate, estate administration, and conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
- Providing high-quality legal advice to clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring a client-centred service approach.
- Supervising team members as appropriate and contributing to the continued success of the practice.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE in conveyancing and probate.
- Demonstrable technical expertise and a commercially pragmatic approach.
- Proven ability to manage files independently and efficiently.
- Experience using case management systems (Legal Insight experience preferred).
- A STEP qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
- Experience in additional practice areas (e.g., litigation, family law, corporate and commercial) will be viewed favourably.
