Murphy O’Rawe is seeking a full‑time conveyancing secretary with a minimum of five years experience to join their Belfast City Centre office.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high quality secretarial support within the conveyancing team
- Managing case files both electronically and hard copy
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
- Drafting legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, correspondence and completion statements
- Land Registry applications and submissions
- Obtaining Property Certificates and Searches
- Submitting SDLT Returns
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other stakeholders
- Handling telephone and email queries in a professional and timely manner
Skills And Experience
- 5 years secretarial experience in a conveyancing role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Case Management Systems
- Proficient in the use of Landweb, LMS and Lender Exchange
- Excellent typing and document production skills with high attention to detail
- Effective organisation skills with ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
