We are delighted to be seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Reception and Admin assistant to join our friendly team at Laurus Grace. This is a key role within the school, where you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, offering a warm, professional, and welcoming presence at reception. Alongside this, you will provide efficient and confidential administrative support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school and contributing positively to our vibrant school community. This position is contracted on a 15 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. Work hours are flexible, except that Friday is a required working day.
Responsibilities- Respond to enquiries from visitors, staff and students.
- Provide confidential administrative support to the school including the preparation of documents and reports using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Reception/Administration experience.
- Experience working in a school environment.
