We are delighted to be working with Europe’s dedicated data centre delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin, they deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in the sector. We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their project team in Sweden. This role will be responsible for managing the procurement function across projects, ensuring materials, equipment, and subcontract services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Lead and manage all procurement activities across the project lifecycle
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and commercial objectives
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor prequalification, tendering, evaluation, and selection processes
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Package Managers, and commercial teams to ensure procurement requirements are met
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with specification
  • Ensure all procurement documentation, including contracts and purchase orders, is maintained and up to date
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain and market challenges
  • Manage procurement schedules in line with project programmes
  • Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for value engineering
  • Attend Commercial Meetings, Project Reviews, and Procurement Meetings

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Construction Management, or similar discipline
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in procurement within construction, engineering, or related sector
  • Proven experience managing procurement activities for large-scale construction projects
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost drivers
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement packages and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working with subcontractors, suppliers, and global supply chains
  • Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
