The client is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. The client specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. The client has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe. We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our expanding team in Helsinki, Finland.
Requirements
- Supervision of Commissioning related tasks for all Electrical Vendors.
- Ensure Compliance with work scope.
- Monitor delivery of scope.
- Communication of deadlines and Cx programme Milestones.
- Supervision and reporting on Cx Programme and deadline progress.
- Supervision of and possible attendance for Electrical Vendor FAT’s and FWT’s.
- Experience working on UPS, Switchgear, Generators, MV and BMS Controls.
- Organise/ Attend and provide input to Daily/ Weekly Cx meetings, Internally and vendors.
- Form and update weekly Cx Vendor progress reports for onward submission to Cx management.
- Coordinate with Project QAQC Dept to achieve common objectives.
- Coordination with Project AP Dept to achieve common objectives.
- Track and obtain approval on relevant project Electrical Cx documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc.
- Witnessing of all vendor Cx activities against approved project documentation.
- Track receipt of, review and compliance of project CX documentation to achieve the necessary CX level sign off.
- Conducting Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
- Conducting of all day to day on site commissioning operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experience e.g NVQ.
- Minimum of 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable.
- Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning experience.
- Electrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years’ experience.
- Construction experience / understanding required with safety experience.
- Solves problems analytically and acts decisively.
- Process driven candidate and focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is desirable.
