Essential
- Appropriate level of Literacy & Numeracyskills, equivalent to level 2 or above
- Knowledge and experience of the requirements ofsafeguarding within schools, including Child Protection
- Motivation to work with children and youngpeople

- Proven work experience in administration
- Strong basic ICT skills, especially in the useof Word and Excel

- Appropriate qualifications (LSA HLTA) orexperience of supporting students in school
- Knowledge of database management
- Prior relevant experience of working in a school
- Knowledge and understanding of the SEN Code ofPractice
- Experience of using Compass (School’sInformation Management System)
- Knowledge of external children and young peoplesupport services
- First aid training
