About the Company: Our client is a market-leading events and business conference company to the Technology sector. They work with major IT brands and key personnel, organising networking events and conferences across Europe to serve technology developments.
The Role of the Sales Director: As Sales Director, you will be responsible for all business revenue generation activities of the European sales team. Working closely with the CEO, your role will include the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and drive the sales strategy for yourself and the sales team (who you will manage and motivate).
- Manage your own full sales cycle.
- Oversee key account management and stakeholder relationships.
- Strategic client acquisition.
- Key client account management and development of long-term partnerships with technology vendors.
- Define the sales strategy, drive growth across all events and digital products, and ensure revenue targets are consistently achieved.
Candidate background: Fluent in English. Fluency in any other language is an advantage but not essential. Proven track record of event industry sales. An ability to build high-level relationships. Ideally some experience of managing and motivating a sales team. Experience with sales accounts.
