The company: Our client is a specialist ecommerce company with successful online sales and business activities across Europe.

The opportunity: In order to capitalise on expanding online sales activity in international markets, they wish to hire a Business Development Manager. The role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive international acquisition strategy to enter new markets and grow existing ones with new brands and IP.
  • Drive new customer acquisition through direct sales efforts and by supporting partners in their sales initiatives.
  • Work closely with agents to take advantage of their local knowledge and presence.
  • Travel internationally for fairs or customer visits.

Candidate Profile: Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage due to the international scope of the role.

  • Experience in a business development, sales, or account management role, with a strong focus on international markets.
  • Strong communication skills, customer-oriented focus.
  • Ability to prioritise a broad operational agenda.
  • Excellent sales pitching skills.
  • Able to travel internationally for fairs or customer visits.

Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary of c£45,000 - £50,000.
