The opportunity: In order to capitalise on expanding online sales activity in international markets, they wish to hire a Business Development Manager. The role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive international acquisition strategy to enter new markets and grow existing ones with new brands and IP.
- Drive new customer acquisition through direct sales efforts and by supporting partners in their sales initiatives.
- Work closely with agents to take advantage of their local knowledge and presence.
- Travel internationally for fairs or customer visits.
Candidate Profile: Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage due to the international scope of the role.
- Experience in a business development, sales, or account management role, with a strong focus on international markets.
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented focus.
- Ability to prioritise a broad operational agenda.
