We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a German speaking Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing FinTech company that has business hubs across the world. They produce world class software solutions that are successfully used by eCommerce and Tech SME\’s and FTSE100 global businesses across the world.

Location of the job
Hybrid work – Central London office 3 days a week, remote / work from home 2 days a week option. Ideally London based or willing to commute to London.

Job responsibilities of the German speaking Business Development Manager
As a The role of the German speaking Business Development Manager will require you to be skilled in both new business hunting as well as client relationship management. You will be expected to grow your client portfolio (typically client will be SME\’s, financial brokers or accountants, for example) through acquisitions of new partners and develop current relationships through training and relationship management.

You role will typically include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Build a new business portfolio of client partnerships
  • Identify and win new client partnerships using qualification, pitching, negotiation and sales closing
  • Develop a successful account management and relationship management strategy
  • Deliver a new business acquisition strategy in the DACH countries of Europe using sales tools such as marketing activities (webinars etc.)
  • Focus on acquisition of new business from either new or existing partners
  • Create engaging webinars, or workshops sessions and present in front of partners and their teams
  • Utilise networking skills through social media and attend events
  • Travel to Germany maybe 1 x per month and organise social events for partners when required.

The successful candidate background

  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Previous experience in business development / sales partnerships – ideally in the FinTech / financial services or e-commerce sector but ALL industry backgrounds considered
  • Track record of working to sales targets
  • Be able to report on personal performance to senior management
  • Ability to communicate solutions in an effective way
  • Ability to work in a fast moving environment
  • A networker with entrepreneurial spirit with excellent verbal and written presenting

Salary, benefits and working hours
Basic salary £60,000 – £75,000 + 70% annual bonus OTE £130,000.
