We have a fantastic opportunity for a French speaking Recruitment Consultant to join a hugely progressive, international recruitment agency dedicated to the exciting sector of life sciences and related medical industries. Your role will be to work with life science and medical related companies across the French speaking countries of Europe (France and parts of Switzerland and the Benelux region), understand their business and hiring needs and making strong relationships with scientific professionals in the process.
Location of the job: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, office (50 minutes by train from London) - 2 days a week office based minimum - remote / work from home hybrid option available.
Language requirements for the job: Fluency in French and English is essential.

Job responsibilities:
- Manage your own accounts (business from the life science and related medical industry sector).
- Work towards your own targets as well as team work and team target as the role is very team focused.
- Interviewing candidates face to face and over the telephone.
- Attending exhibitions and industry events.
- Regularly attending client meetings and business pitches.
- Telephone contact to maintain/establish contact, network, gain market information and vacancies.
- Assisting colleagues as necessary in candidate communication to achieve business objectives.
The successful candidate background:
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Be a university graduate, ideally in a life sciences or related science or a business studies or related subject.
- Some previous recruitment experience - any sector - is a preference but not essential as full training will be given to non-experienced candidates.
- A positive 'can do’ attitude.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- A good understanding of medical or life science terminology is an advantage - as ability to learn this is also required.
Salary, benefits and working hours:
Basic salary from £28,000 for graduate entry level up to £45,000 for experienced sales or recruitment background candidate + sales commissions (uncapped, realistically you will be able to achieve £50,000+). Excellent benefits include an option to pursue a sponsored MBA at Cranfield University, 25 days Holiday rising an extra day after every year of service, Electric bike scheme - up to £2000 subsidised (providing you meet the terms), £25 gym membership monthly contribution, Matched pension contribution up to 7.5% of basic.
