We have a fantastic new job opportunity for anArabic speaking Business Development Manager – Middle East markets – to join a global engineering and industrial equipment specialist with strong sales activities into the manufacturing sector.
Location
Colchester, Essex. Office based, no remote option. Travel to the MEA required. You must have your own transport to travel to the company office on a daily baiss (public transport is not an option).

Our client is a well-established international engineering and industrial equipment distribution company, supplying specialist solutions to major manufacturing and production companies from this related sector, such as construction, pharmaceutical, infrastructure and manufacturing.
Job description
They are now looking to hire an Arabic speaking Business Development Manager to oversee and grow their successful sales in the markets of the Middle East. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the region through strategic planning, client engagement, and opportunity development. Your typical job responsibilities will be:
- Research and identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the Middle East
- Promote the companyβs full range of services to prospective customers
- Develop and implement a targeted business growth strategy for the Middle East
- Follow up on quotations with new customers and provide feedback to the sales team
- Coordinate and plan overseas business trips in collaboration with the Regional ManagerManage and maintain customer data using the CRM system.
Candidate Profile
- Fluent English is essential. Fluent in Arabic is a major preference
- Proven track record in a similar sales / business development role in their business sector of industry, manudacturing, industrial equipment or related to engineering
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the Middle East market and culture essential
- Confident, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong work ethic
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to travel to the Middle East region to meet clients when required
- Must have full right to live and work in the UK β visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Competitive salary – Β£45,000 – Β£70,000+ 10% bonus and benefits package offered. Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30β13:00 and 14:00β17:00 (37.5 hours per week); flexibility required for additional hours
