Our client is a successful eCommerce company with a large range of consumer goods and brands recognised and sold across most of the world's leading online platforms (Amazon, Google Shopping, eBay, etc.).
We wish to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager. The role will focus on managing all of the company's consumer and business digital marketing and PR strategies in the UK markets. The main responsibilities include:
- Define and implement marketing activities for the UK markets
- Develop and deliver top-level localised PR strategies to support overall SEO objectives
- Work closely with internal senior stakeholders to define roadmap
- Work collaboratively with wider marketing and technology team to enhance and maintain digital functionality
- Manage relationships with local agencies and partners
- Content optimisation for the transactional purchase/user journey
- Report on project status to internal stakeholders, team members and partners
- Identify and develop relationships with key influencers
- Build relationships with business & trade press
- Ongoing competitor research, reporting back internally on best practices
- Improve visibility of the programme on the .uk websites
- Content optimisation and write copy for marketing collateral and assets such as website(s) and emails
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- English to mother tongue standard
- Experience working within the UK market in a similar role (preferably an e-commerce brand)
- Strong project management skills and stakeholder management experience
- A good networker
- Strong communicator who can engage and convert website visitors into customers
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and teamwork skills
- Experience of working in a PR and digital marketing environment
- Experience of P&L management advantage
- Good understanding of SEO and the importance of good copywriting for improving rankings
SALARY: £35,000 + 5 weeks holiday, flexible working, staff discounts.
