COMPANY BACKGROUND
Our client is a successful eCommerce company with a large range of consumer goods and brands that are recognised and sold across most of the world's leading online platforms (Amazon, Google Shopping, eBay etc).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To manage all of their consumer and business digital marketing & PR strategies to their UK markets, they wish to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager. The job will focus on the following responsibilities:
- Define and implement the marketing activities for the UK markets
- Develop and deliver top-level localised PR strategies to support overall SEO objectives
- Work closely with internal senior stakeholders to define roadmap
- Work collaboratively with wider marketing and technology team to enhance and maintain digital functionality
- Manage relationships with local agencies and partners
- Content optimisation for the transactional purchase/user journey
- Report on project status to internal stakeholders, team members and partners
- Identify and develop relationships with key influencers
- Build relationships with business & trade press
- On-going competitor research, reporting back internally on best practices
- Improve visibility of the programme on the .uk websites
- Content optimisation and write copy for marketing collateral and assets such as website(s) and emails
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
English to tongue standard
Experience of working within the UK market in a similar role (preferably an e-commerce brand)
Strong project management skills and stakeholder management experience
A good networker
Strong communicator who can engage and convert website visitors into customers
Strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and teamwork skills
Experience of working in a PR and digital marketing environment
Experience of P&L management is an advantage
Good understanding of SEO and the importance of good copywriting for improving rankings
SALARY
to £35,000 + 5 weeks holiday, flexible working, staff discounts
