We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a world-leading international luxury retail brand with strong connections to the HNWI and UHNW marketplace. This is a high-profile sales role focused on developing and converting high-net-worth clientele to the UK market through strategic partnerships and commercial relationship management.

Location
Hybrid working: 2 days per week working at the company head office (near Oxford), rest of week remote / visiting clients mostly in London.

The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving HNW and UHNW clientele to the business through the effective management, optimisation, and expansion of a portfolio of commercial partners. These include luxury hotels, serviced apartments, travel trade organisations, airlines, tourism boards, and international hospitality partners. Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you will focus on delivering sustained double-digit growth across assigned segments and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an allocated portfolio of commercial partners, including luxury hotels, serviced apartments, and travel trade organisations - all organisations that attract visitors from across the UK and overseas - building strong relationships that drive qualified conversion and commercial performance.
  • Develop relationships with multiple senior stakeholders within partner organisations.
  • Create and execute tailored strategies for high-potential partners to increase international guest engagement and revenue.
  • Exchange relevant data, travel insights, market trends, and guest profiles to align commercial strategies.
  • Identify, onboard, and activate new qualified partners to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Design and implement tactical incentive programmes, monitoring performance against KPIs.
  • Deliver incentive-led initiatives to increase engagement, advocacy, and revenue growth.
  • Identify and execute marketing, PR, and digital opportunities via partner channels (CRM, social media, content collaborations).
  • Develop collaborative offers, packages, and exclusive experiences to enhance the customer journey.
  • Maintain a strong presence across hotels and the wider partner ecosystem through regular meetings, visits, and industry events.

Candidate Profile
Fluency in English (essential). Experience in sales - this can be partnerships sales travel, hospitality, tourism, luxury retail, luxury hotels or related sectors but must be sales. Background in sales, business development or partnerships, sales. Experience working with tourism boards, leisure sector, luxury hotels, airlines, or travel trade organisations is highly desirable. Ideally experience working within the HNW and UHNW community. Highly self-motivated with the ability to build and manage a strong sales pipeline. Detail-oriented, logical, and commercially astute. Adaptable communication style with a flexible approach. Results-driven and solution-focused. Able to manage a high workload with minimal supervision.

Salary & Benefits
£60,000 + Excellent benefits package. 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
