Our client is a leading and very well-established global accountancy practice with an impressive portfolio of UK and overseas clients servicing a wide variety of industry sectors. They are known for their partner-led approach, offering clients the highest levels of trusted technical expertise alongside a commitment to personal integrity.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Due to continued international expansion, they are looking to appoint a Director to work alongside several departments and a number of key individuals, primarily at Manager to Partner level. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Source and develop new business opportunities and grow high-value client engagements
- Play a key role in shaping and delivering the strategic plan, representing the firm in market forums and industry events
- Own and nurture a significant portfolio of outsourcing clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Deliver an efficient, proactive, and client-focused service that exceeds expectations
- Work closely with senior leadership to manage team resourcing and staffing priorities
- Ensure strong internal collaboration and visibility of client activity across the firm
- Coach and mentor junior team members, helping them to build confidence and client management expertise
- Spot emerging trends and develop innovative service offerings to meet evolving client needs
- Proactively manage risk, ensuring the firm operates safely and sustainably
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- A valid practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain one immediately) is essential
- Experience of managing an existing portfolio of clients and also generating new business opportunities
- Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment and ability to deliver the highest level of client service
- Experience of delivering services to internationally expanding groups
- A "can do" attitude and willingness to tackle a range of client issues
- Strong delivery skills and ability to work effectively to deadlines
SALARY
c.£90,000-£100,000 pa with excellent benefits including:
