We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable car dealership in Crawley, for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. Duties
- Conduct advanced diagnostics, warranty repairs, and vehicle repairs across various makes and models
- Perform electric vehicle diagnostics and hydraulic repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Utilise diagnostic tools and software to identify complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians in their professional development
- Maintain high safety standards and ensure customer satisfaction in all tasks
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles as required
Requirements
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Recognised Diagnostic Technician qualification
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, with brand-specific experience considered advantageous
- Strong team player with excellent adherence to safety protocols and processes
- High motivation to progress within a reputable dealership environment
- Willingness to undertake ongoing manufacturer training, including electric and hybrid vehicle technology
