We are looking to appoint a full-time Cover Coach as soon as possible; this will be a fixed term position until September 2027. The role of Cover Coach is two-fold: 1. Primarily based in the physical education department, assisting in the delivery of sports lessons and clubs, in addition to coaching at least one of the school's highly successful sports teams. 2. Teach cover lessons across the school, in all subjects, when necessary.
What we are looking for:
- A talented and enthusiastic postgraduate to assist in the delivery of Cricket, Hockey or Rugby
- Candidates must be an experienced, high-level player/coach of competitive Cricket, Rugby or Hockey
- Expertise in Athletics, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Netball or Strength and Conditioning is also desirable
- Coaching qualification would be an advantage, but qualification by experience will be considered
- Commitment to extra-curricular sport and weekend fixtures is essential
- A full driving licence
