Responsibilities include key working and supporting clients within your project, acting as the Key Worker to designated clients as required. You will take an active role in the assessment and management of risk, including the operation of physical and situational security measures to control the level of risk posed to the client, the public, staff, and other clients, while liaising with other stakeholders as appropriate.
You must maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge, and de-escalation as required. Providing personal care to identified clients through prompting and/or assisting is also part of the role. You will write Care Plans for clients and implement them, keeping health-related records as necessary.
Regularly utilise the Trust 'Client File' with designated clients to ensure they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes. A satisfactory Enhanced DBS with adult barred list check is required for this role, and job offers will be subject to the Trust receiving satisfactory evidence of the successful applicant's right to work in the UK.
Langley has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Support Worker to join our welcoming and supportive team in Bury. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £24,727 per annum. You will work 12.5-hour shifts across a 7-day rota, contributing to life-changing outcomes for the individuals we support.
