ABOUT THE ROLE
- In the role of Pastry Commis Chef, your key focus will be to:
- be passionate about pastry and committed to learning
- ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times
- ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the Hotel
- follow closely the recipe specifications to ensure consistency of pastry/desserts
- ensure all mise-en-place is set up accordingly
ABOUT YOU
- previous similar experience in a 5* luxury hotel, with medium to large banqueting and afternoon tea offering
- interest and passion in learning
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- excellent attention to detail
- food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications
