We are currently seeking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of a Reservations Agent.
The key activities connected with the role of the Reservations Agent are as follows:
- Answer all incoming reservation enquiries via telephone, fax, or email in a timely manner, meeting departmental standards, and convert them into bookings where possible.
- Be fully knowledgeable in the operation, functionality, and standards required in using the OPERA reservations system.
- Input reservations into the OPERA system, ensuring all details are accurate and complete according to departmental standards.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all correspondence within the department, ensuring daily completion of filing.
- Ensure all system traces are actioned daily.
- Follow up on 'no-shows' from the previous night and charge accordingly.
- Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing daily.
Key requirements for the Reservations Agent role include:
