ABOUT THE ROLE
- Be passionate about pastry and committed to learning.
- Ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the Hotel.
- Follow closely the recipe specifications to ensure consistency of pastry/desserts.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is set up accordingly.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous similar experience in a 5* luxury hotel, with medium to large banqueting and afternoon tea offering.
- Interest and passion in learning.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications.
