The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our talented Langham Club team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of Assistant Manager, your key focus will be to:
ensure that all guests' needs are being dealt with immediately and complaints are handled efficiently and written down in the logbook
greet, check in and perform rooming procedure
oversee the food and beverage offerings β ensuring that they are in sufficient supply and presented beautifully
motivate, lead and develop the Langham Club team
carry out administrative duties e.g. duty rotas, manage holiday requests, sickness/absence, monthly stock takes etc.
ensure that Health and Safety, food hygiene regulations and procedures are followed and respected at all time
Do you have? -
previous food and beverage background is desirable
previous experience of working at a supervisor/assistant manager level is essential
understanding luxury customer service is a must
great attention to detail
strong managerial and leadership qualities
previous experience of preparing roster, or handling a variety of administrative tasks
previous experience of Opera PMS and MICROS systems is an advantage
