The Langham, London, Europe's first Grand Hotel, is currently recruiting for a Guest Services Executive to join our talented Guest Services team. We're an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome and value applications from all communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Guest Services Executive, your key focus will be to:
- Perform check-in and check-out procedure for the guests with Langham Club access (e.g. VIPs, long stay guests and similar).
- Assist with rooming guests in line with the hotel's brand standards.
- Assist the team with Lobby duties (e.g. greet and acknowledge guests that arrive at the hotel gather in the lobby or depart the hotel).
- Assist the Reception and Concierge with ‘queue' management.
- Assist in managing rooms allocations, rooms checks and amenities requests when required.
- Solve guest issues, complaints or requests.
- Supervise the Guest Services team on any given shift: performance manage, develop, help and ensure they have everything they need.
- Demonstrate expertise in the functionality of Shiji and Microsoft Office programmes to ensure all guest profiles are up to date, emails answered and similar.
- Maintain close communication within the department and with other hotel departments.
