Casual Waiter / Waitress (40 hours per week)
The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit a Casual Waiter / Waitress in our Palm Court lounge. The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago.All day light dining is served with timeless elegance.Champagne enthusiasts may indulge their passion by choosing from one of London’s widest list of over 40 champagnes, including some rare and unusual offerings.
As a Casual Waiter / Waitress in Palm Court, your main role will be to –
- welcome guests to Palm Court in a friendly and engaging manner
- provide prompt, friendly and efficient service
- be familiar with all food & beverage items on the menu
- ensure restaurant pantry is set for service
- prepare and locate all mise-en-place in strategic areas in the restaurant
- responsible for linen for the restaurant
- prepare and serve hot beverage as ordered
- ensure that all cutlery, crockery and trays are spotless and clean before and during service
