The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel is currently recruiting for Assistant Linen Room Manager to join our talented Housekeeping team. We're an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome and value applications from all communities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Look after the day-to-day operational needs of the Linen Room.
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper to develop and review standards and procedures for the department.
- Carry out stock takes and take control of the Linen RFID system.
- Ensure quality of laundry and colleague uniforms.
- Assist with recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring of the team.
- Liaise closely with all relevant departments and build strong working relationships across the business.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience of working within housekeeping department in a similar size property.
- Previous experience of supervising/managing/leading teams.
- Knowledge of Linen RFID system.
- Ability to handle high volume of activities and work under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to iron out any glitches or handle complaints as and when they may arise.
