The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel. is currently recruiting for an Assistant Head Bartender to join our talented Artesian team. Artesian Bar is at the forefront of the sophisticated London bar scene. The relaxed, friendly environment of Artesian is combined with experimental cocktails, all of which makes this venue so special.

In the role of Assistant Head Bartender, your key focus will be to:

  • help develop concepts, both classic and innovative, that will continue to make Artesian a truly outstanding bar
  • work alongside the Head Bartender and Bar Manager
  • provide the team with tools to have flair, charisma and charm in a theatrical environment
  • drive the team to deliver excellent customer service and be a role model to the team
  • be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive in responding to the needs of our guests and bar management team
  • ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to

Do you have?

  • extensive cocktail/spirits/wines knowledge
  • keen understanding and genuine interest in drinks and industry trends
  • previous experience in a similar 5* environment
  • supervisory / Assistant Head Bartender experience in a similar style environment
  • flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
  • confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
  • ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
  • leadership qualities in driving the team to greater success
