We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Back of House Team at The Lanesborough. The Lanesborough is awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, located on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London's most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge. This grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room, and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.
As a Steward, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage teams by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organization across all back-of-house areas. You will be hands-on, proactive and a strong team player, maintaining clean and well-organised workspaces while supporting service delivery across the hotel. You will take pride in maintaining impeccable standards, working collaboratively with kitchen and restaurant teams, and ensuring all procedures and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times. There is a strong emphasis on communication, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning or stewarding role within a luxury hotel or high-end environment is preferred
- Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Manual Handling regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Immaculate grooming standards and excellent personal hygiene
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-focused mindset
- Please note this role involves manual handling and heavy lifting
