We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Pastry Kitchen at The Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room, and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.
As Chef de Partie Baker, you will oversee the night production of all bakery items and breads. You will collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations and ensure quality and consistency. You will assist in managing the operation, including stock control, budgetary management, and health and safety. Your role involves leading by example, inspiring your team through training and setting high standards of excellence. Please note this is a 24-hour kitchen operation.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within Bakery section at a senior level for a luxury level environment preferred
- Experience with baking and patisserie to a high level of expertise and creativity preferred
- Food Hygiene Level 3 preferred although not essential for commencement as will be certified with the Company
- Excellent command of the English language
- Please note this role requires an element of manual handling and on occasion heavy lifting
