We currently have an excellent opportunity for a passionate Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join a fantastic team at the Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London's most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.
Candidate Profile
- Support Sales team administration for the effective running of the department.
- Be able to promote and be confident with all facilities offered in the hotel.
- Knowledgeable about The Oetker Collection and other properties.
- Maintain accurate databases of accounts and travel agents and organise regular mailings to promote tactical offers.
- Coordinate and assist with site inspections, client events and FAM trips.
- Manage and liaise with suppliers, monitoring inventory and organising orders when needed.
- Manage monthly CRM Audits and present individual sales team efforts to the DOSM.
- Coordinate and run monthly reports and presentations.
- Assist with all office sales efforts, to include responding/assigning general enquiries and coordinating client requests in absence of the Director of Sales and Sales Team.
- Ensure a friendly and pleasant environment for all guests and employees ensuring that recognition is at the forefront of service.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a luxury establishment within Sales & Marketing is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal is essential (a second language is an asset).
- Immaculate grooming standards.
- Working, practical knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential; Opera and CRM operation is highly preferable.
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
