We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Terrace Team at The Lanesborough. An exciting new opening is forthcoming, marking a considered addition to our food and beverage offer. Candidate Profile

As a Junior Sommelier you will provide an exceptional guest service experience. You will be an excellent communicator, genuinely care about guests and take a proactive approach to constantly develop your wine and pairing knowledge. You will have a real passion for food and wine, enabling you to upsell and promote items by your personal knowledge from the menu and wine list. You will be a team player, playing a key role in supporting the Sommeliers during service to create a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant is essential.
  • Excellent command of the English language; a second language would be preferred.
  • Immaculate grooming standards.
  • This role requires an element of manual handling and some heavy lifting.
