Candidate Profile

You will ensure the safety and security of our colleagues, guests and property as an integral part of our operations. Your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will help the hotel remain a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of security and health & safety, protecting guests, employees and the company from all matters involving security, fire, risk procedures and health and safety. Excellent communication skills, eye for detail, teamwork and a passion for exceptional customer service are essential.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of security work within the hospitality or retail industry or employment within the emergency or armed services (preferred).
  • Excellent command of English; knowledge of a second language preferred.
  • Immaculate grooming standards.
  • Holder of an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Holder of a First Aid at Work certificate, or willingness to undertake training.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Drive for Excellent Customer Service.
  • Availability, flexibility and willingness to work a 24‑hour roster when required.
  • Manual handling duties will be required.
