We are looking for an Assistant Director of Finance to lead the Finance team.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day department operation and the finance team
- Lead the month-end process and the production of management and statutory financial reports
- Ensure reporting to Corporate Office at Oetker Hotels and ADIA are carried out in a timely manner
- Lead the end of year audit with external accountants
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, identify and implement opportunities for improvement
- Ensure all local and national taxes are paid, and all related reports are filed in a timely manner
- Achieve the best performance from the team and keep them motivated by way of setting exemplary standards
- Previous experience in the same role for a minimum of 5 years essential
- Accounting qualification is preferable
- Experience within Finance in a luxury hotel
- Thorough Commercial and Business awareness
- Strong Leadership & Communication Skills
- An Analytical, enquiring mind
- Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures
