We are looking for an Assistant Director of Finance to lead the Finance team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day department operation and the finance team
  • Lead the month-end process and the production of management and statutory financial reports
  • Ensure reporting to Corporate Office at Oetker Hotels and ADIA are carried out in a timely manner
  • Lead the end of year audit with external accountants
  • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, identify and implement opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure all local and national taxes are paid, and all related reports are filed in a timely manner
  • Achieve the best performance from the team and keep them motivated by way of setting exemplary standards
Skills And Requirements
  • Previous experience in the same role for a minimum of 5 years essential
  • Accounting qualification is preferable
  • Experience within Finance in a luxury hotel
  • Thorough Commercial and Business awareness
  • Strong Leadership & Communication Skills
  • An Analytical, enquiring mind
  • Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies and procedures
