We’re working with a premium Midlands-based OEM on an exciting project, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a strong background in Chassis / Vehicle Dynamics / Motion Control Systems. This is your chance to become part of a highly skilled team, supporting the delivery of next-gen Driver Modes Systems from initial definition to full system sign-off.
What You'll Do
- Own system requirement decomposition, traceability and validation across the V-cycle
- Author and execute system-level test cases (rigs + vehicle)
- Support root cause analysis and drive corrective actions
- Work to ISO 26262 standards for safety-critical systems
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Engineers to deliver premium vehicle performance
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Automotive, Systems or Electrical Engineering (5+ years' exp.)
- Proven experience in Chassis, Mechatronics or Motion Control Systems
- Strong systems engineering, requirement management & version control knowledge
- Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart experience
- Hands-on with vehicle testing and system-level validation
- Full UK Driving Licence
Bonus If You Have
- MBSE (SysML) toolset experience
- Automotive network & diagnostics knowledge (CANalyzer, CANape)
- Experience in high-integrity control system delivery
- Class 3/4 driving qualifications
