We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Mobile Maintenance Technicians to join a leading Facilities Management provider delivering maintenance services across a national retail portfolio.

The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across major retail sites including Currys and Smyths Toys Superstores. This is a mobile position covering a regional patch, with travel typically within a two-hour radius of your home location.

The Role

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
  • Fault finding and repair works
  • Statutory compliance inspections
  • Minor project and remedial works
  • Client liaison and reporting
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial facilities management or building maintenance
  • Experience working within retail, commercial, industrial, logistics, healthcare or education environments
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Electrical Technicians

  • City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing desirable

Air Conditioning Technicians

  • FGAS Certification
  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems
  • VRV/VRF, split systems and associated plant experience

Commercial Gas Technicians

  • Commercial Gas qualifications
  • Experience maintaining and repairing commercial gas systems
