We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Mobile Maintenance Technicians to join a leading Facilities Management provider delivering maintenance services across a national retail portfolio.
The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across major retail sites including Currys and Smyths Toys Superstores. This is a mobile position covering a regional patch, with travel typically within a two-hour radius of your home location.
The Role
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
- Fault finding and repair works
- Statutory compliance inspections
- Minor project and remedial works
- Client liaison and reporting
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience within commercial facilities management or building maintenance
- Experience working within retail, commercial, industrial, logistics, healthcare or education environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Electrical Technicians
- City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection & Testing desirable
Air Conditioning Technicians
- FGAS Certification
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems
- VRV/VRF, split systems and associated plant experience
Commercial Gas Technicians
- Commercial Gas qualifications
- Experience maintaining and repairing commercial gas systems
