Join a forward-thinking software team driving the future of Driver Modes and Vehicle Motion Control. We’re looking for a Control Systems / Software Engineer with strong experience in model-based development and mechatronic systems to support software delivery for current and next-generation vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Derive and decompose software-level requirements
- Design Simulink/Matlab models to deliver Driver Modes functionality
- Perform unit testing (MIL/SIL) using GitLab pipelines
- Create and review software quality artefacts
- Investigate bugs and support software refinement
- Support functional safety documentation in alignment with ISO 26262
- Essential Skills:
- Control Engineering background with motion domain expertise
- Advanced Simulink/Matlab skills (MathWorks toolchain, TargetLink)
- Experience with CAN protocols (CANOpen, J1939, ISO14229, ISO14230)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements analysis
- Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with dSPACE toolchain (ControlDesk, AutomationDesk)
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics
- Awareness of ISO 26262 (Part 3) and ISO 21434 cybersecurity standards
- Experience with 8D/Fishbone analysis and automotive diagnostic tools
- Hands-on validation experience (rig/vehicle)
- Project tools such as JIRA
- Valid OEM driving permit
