Our client is a rapidly expanding cloud and digital transformation business delivering secure platforms for large commercial and public sector organisations.

Due to continued growth and investment, they are looking to strengthen their cyber security capability.

The Role

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join their growing security function.

You will work with technical and business stakeholders to protect systems, data and services while helping improve the organisation's overall cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design security controls across AWS and/or Azure.
  • Embed security into infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Review cloud architecture and identify security risks.
  • Implement IAM, encryption and network security controls.
  • Support cloud vulnerability and configuration management.
  • Develop automated security checks and guardrails.
  • Promote Dev Sec Ops practices across engineering teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Commercial cloud security, Dev Sec Ops or security engineering experience.
  • Strong AWS and/or Azure knowledge.
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD.
  • Understanding of IAM, secrets management, encryption and cloud networking.
  • Knowledge of CSPM/CNAPP tooling.
  • Relevant AWS, Azure or security certifications are advantageous.
