A commercial landscape maintenance company based inSouth Darenth, Kent is looking for a reliable and hardworkingLandscaping / Maintenance Worker to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is looking to build a career in the landscaping industry. Working as part of an experienced team, you’ll help maintain a range of commercial landscapes throughout the local area.
Job Title: Landscaping / Maintenance Worker
Location: South Darenth, near Dartford, Kent
Job Type: Seasonal
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break)
Seasonal variations in working hours may apply.
Salary:
Competitive (depending on experience).
Main Duties
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of commercial landscape maintenance tasks, including:
- Strimming
- Hedge trimming
- Pedestrian mowing
- Raking up grass, leaves and pruning waste
- Blowing pathways and hard surfaces
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Maintaining high commercial standards on customer sites.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should:
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Work well as part of a team
- Be able to maintain high standards of workmanship
Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Desirable Qualifications
The following would be beneficial:
- PA1 and PA6 pesticide application certificates
- Previous commercial grounds maintenance experience
- Own transport, as public transport links to the depot are limited.
