We are currently looking for a passionate Events Sales Coordinator, to join our Event Sales Team on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all event enquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and proactively convert leads (weddings, social events, private dining) to achieve monthly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records in Opera, including detailed notes, call logs, daily activity monitoring, and individual booking reports
- Maximise and monitor banqueting space in line with Group Selling Guidelines to optimise revenue
- Negotiate with clients, carry out proactive selling based on business levels, and ensure strong knowledge of services, facilities, and competitors
- Coordinate and conduct site visits and show rounds for corporate and social events, and assist with trade shows and special events
- Chase and update contracts and initial deposits in a timely manner to secure and confirm bookings
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
