We are currently looking for a passionate Director of Housekeeping, to join our Accommodation Services Team on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.

As a Director of Housekeeping, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:

  • Team Management: Oversee all Housekeeping and Laundry department staff, including hotel employees, agency personnel, and contract cleaners, ensuring high standards of service and performance across the property.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with multiple departments, Front Office, Engineering, and Guest Relations to ensure seamless service delivery and meet the expectations of all guests.
  • Leadership of Senior Team: To be an active member of the hotels Senior Management Team. To direct and guide senior team members and Supervisors to ensure that all accommodation areas are consistently cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Staff Training & Development: Lead a large team, identify and provide ongoing training and development to ensure excellence in service standards and performance across all departments.
  • Financial management: Manage and be involved with the department’s financial performance, including preparing payroll forecasts, budget projections, P&L results, and contributing to the Capex preparation and annual budgeting processes.

You will be required to work hours as necessary to fulfil your duties according to business needs, and in any event not less than 40 hours per week.
