We are currently seeking a passionate Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team on a permanent basis, with an immediate start. Your role will be to deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and team. We value positive energy and a supportive environment, striving to build a community of diverse backgrounds and experiences, where careers matter.
As a Chef De Partie, your main duties will include:
- Working both independently and as part of a team, owning the correct preparation of mise-en-place and service for your section. Lead by example to achieve quality standards.
- Preparing and cooking food to the specified standards, supporting the sous chef team, and assisting in writing new recipe manuals.
- Researching new dishes for menus, presenting ideas monthly, and following up with specifications and allergen information if approved.
- Taking ownership of a section in the absence of a Junior Sous Chef and seeking assistance when needed.
- Completing mise en place lists prioritized by task and consulting with your supervisor before starting work.
- Maintaining good relations with all kitchen staff, support departments, and hotel staff.
This role requires working 40 hours per week on a shift rota.
