We are currently looking for a passionate Senior Events Sales Executive to join our team on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to consistently deliver memorable moments and five-star service to our guests and each other. It is important to us that everyone in the team brings positive energy to support our happy and fun environment, as we strive to build a community of diverse backgrounds and life experiences, where we care about careers and not just jobs.
As a Senior Events Sales Executive, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:
- Manage all group, conference, and banqueting enquiries from initial proposal to contract handover, ensuring accurate documentation in Opera.
- Prepare tailored written proposals and proactively negotiate with clients to maximise revenue and achieve monthly team targets.
- Monitor and optimise group rooms and event space usage, keeping conversion rates in line with departmental goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key bookers and new clients, ensuring seamless communication with Sales and C&B teams.
- Conduct site visits, support trade shows and FAM trips, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings.
- Ensure timely follow-up on contracts, deposits, and agreements while managing repeat business and delivering exceptional client service.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, on a shift rota.
