About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly, proactive and detail-oriented housekeeper to help keep our home clean, in order, comfortable, and running smoothly. The role includes light cleaning, tidying, and laundry, organising, cooking and helping care for our dogs. Someone warm who will ‘just fit in’ and is prepared to make the role their own.
Main Responsibilities
- General cleaning around the house — vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and tidying up.
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen, keeping things fresh and organized.
- Changing bed linens and doing laundry (washing, drying, folding, and ironing).
- Keeping an eye on cleaning supplies and letting us know when we are running low.
- Food/grocery shopping.
- Running errands including taking parcels to post office, dry cleaning etc.
- Home admin.
- Walking the dog once or twice a day and making sure they have food, water, vet visits.
- Batch cooking and meal prep.
- Taking out rubbish and recycling.
- Helping with small household tasks — like watering plants or organising cupboards and clothing.
- Occasionally running small errands or helping with other light duties if needed.
About You
- You’re dependable, honest, and take pride in your work.
- You have some housekeeping experience (professional or personal).
- You’re comfortable around dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors for walks.
- You’re organised, proactive, efficient, and can work without much supervision.
