Live Out Housekeeper – Kensington
Salary: £48,000 per year plus a Christmas bonus. Start: ASAP. The role is permanent, full time, live‑out with flexible days off on rotation. Hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm, five days per week.
We are looking for a professional Russian‑speaking Housekeeper to work for our private clients based in Kensington.
Responsibilities:- Provide an exceptional standard of service to the family and their guests.
- Comfortable working around pet cats.
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the property and outside to ensure all standards and operational flows are well maintained.
- Care of bedroom suites, change beds, replenish linen, bathrooms, kitchen and garden.
- Attend to the needs of the principal and make their environment as comfortable as possible.
- Support members of the operational house team to deliver the highest level of personal service to the principal.
- Liaise with the principal to ensure wardrobes and other requirements are well taken care of.
- Assist with the day‑to‑day running and working in all areas of the laundry (washing, pressing, sorting, spot cleaning and dry cleaning).
- Trip planning and packing/unpacking for the principals.
- Respond to any other ad hoc duties as required by the family – a high level of amenability and flexibility is required.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a semi‑formal, fully‑staffed household.
- High standards of service and a strong work ethic.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Solid 5‑star hotel experience will also be considered.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
- Comfortable working around cats.
- Team player and excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with other staff members and the principals.
The employee’s holiday year runs between 1 January and 31 December, and the holiday entitlement is 28 days annual leave, including English Bank and Public Holidays. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
