Our lovely client is on the hunt for a proactive live in Housekeeper to join their large family home in the countryside.
Overview
This is a traditional housekeeping role, keeping on top of the 8-bedroom home (4 always in use), ensuring it is well cared for, welcoming and ready for both everyday family life and visiting guests.
Due to the rural setting, this position is best suited to someone who delights in countryside living and loves animals, particularly dogs as this role entails a significant element of pet care, such as exercising, feeding and providing overnight care whilst the family are away.
Duties included but not limited to
- Traditional housekeeping duties such as, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Family laundry, ironing and bed linens
- Pet care, walking the families 2 dogs in the morning and throughout the day.
- Running errands, accepting parcels, dealing with contractors
- Washing up, loading the dishwasher
- Occasional family style cooking (the family use chefs for dinner parties)
