How to prepare for a job interview at The Lady Limited
✨Know Your Stuff
Before the interview, brush up on your knowledge about early childhood development. Familiarise yourself with key milestones for babies and think of examples from your past experience where you've supported these. This will show the family that you’re not just a warm presence but also knowledgeable and proactive.
✨Show Your Personality
Being a nanny is as much about personality as it is about skills. During the interview, let your warmth and enthusiasm shine through. Share stories that highlight your calm and loving nature, and how you create a nurturing environment for children. This will help the family envision you in their home.
✨Prepare for Practical Scenarios
Expect to be asked about specific situations you might face as a nanny. Think about how you would handle feeding, playtime, or even a fussy baby. Practising your responses can help you feel more confident and articulate during the interview.
✨Ask Thoughtful Questions
At the end of the interview, have a few questions ready to ask the family. Inquire about their routines, what they value in a nanny, or how they envision the transition back to work. This shows your genuine interest in their family and helps you assess if it’s the right fit for you.
